Thanks so much for organizing such a great triathlon/duathlon! I usually do one sprint tri a summer. This was the first time I have ever entered an all-women’s event, and it was a delightful experience. The courses were well marked, and all the workers were friendly and helpful. The candy at the finish line was so special!! And the food after the tri was wonderful–I’ve never had such a wide variety of choices before or so much food. I love my tri necklace! What a unique award.
2009 She Rocks Finisher
There are so many aid stations and your volunteers are second to none. How they stood out there and handled those bugs is amazing to me and please send them my sincere gratitude. The course is well marked and laid out and appreciated having those buoys out on swim course this year. Had a lot of trouble on first swim with that fog, but just part of the fun.
2012 Battle of Waterloo Finisher
We are already back in Pittsburgh, but I wanted to say, and I’m sure Anne Tilley agrees with me…we had one of our best days, of any day, ever. A day we will reminisce about from time to time. 2012 Swim to the Moon Finisher
Thank you for the great organization of the race. It was a very smooth event to participate in. I had a great time and all the people I talked to were happy. On a more specific point, I just want to share that I appreciated the fact that you let everyone swim and -for what I heard/saw – did not enforce the cutting times and kept the event running until the very last swimmer was out of the water.
I guess I should thank the volunteers for that too. Anyway it is appreciable to participate in events…
