Celebrate Pi(e) Day the Epic Races way: Have your pi and eat it too!
Epic Races proudly presents The Pi Run, Michigan’s Original Pi Run, the race that celebrates this circle-related number and the circular edible it brings to mind. At 3:14 PM on March 14 (at or about) we encourage you to run or walk a 3.14-mile loop (as fans of Pi, we like to think of the course as a circle) and since this is all about Pi, we hope you’ll “recover” with a piece of delicious pie from eat catering & carry-out, who will provide epicly-discounted pie slices to Pi Run participants!
What is a Virtual Race?
A Virtual Race can be done at any time and any location. You can run or walk. You can participate alone, with friends, co-workers, or even your pet.
Just follow these steps:
- Register for the event.
- Choose a location and course.
- Complete your Race! Be sure to complete your event the month of March. A virtual run is all about you, you do it for yourself so there is no need to “prove” your run… BUT… we love hearing about your experience and it’s great to share new routes and parks with others so we do hope you will upload your results with the instructions you will receive via email and also post about it on our Facebook page.
- Receive swag in the mail – Register before March 1 and receive swag by Pi Day (March 14)/Register after March 1 and swag will be mailed by March 15.
