Run or Walk 3.14 Miles
Mark your calendars: Saturday, March 14 will be cause for “constant” celebration. It’s Pi Day, the date on which the mathematical symbol π can be showcased oh so many ways. Such an epic date deserves recognition beyond the realm of math… and that’s where we come in!
Epic Races, Michigan’s premier endurance and multisport race event company, proudly presents Run 3.14 Pi, Michigan’s Original Pi Run, and the race that celebrates this circle-related number … and the circular edible it brings to mind. On March 14, you will run or walk a 3.14-mile loop of your choice at your chosen location. You then have the option to upload your results to see how you fare against all of the other Pi runners and walkers. We also love hearing about your experience on social media so please share if you can. Screenshots of creative courses and photos of our athletes are always appreciated!
All our Run 3.14 Pi participants will receive a fabulous 3.14″ circular finisher’s medal and a high-quality, super-soft race T-shirt!
Please note that this is the same medal design as 2020.
Can’t make it to the race? Have your own private π celebration? No problem! Run 3.14 Pi has a virtual option, so you can run or walk for π anywhere: on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, even in Pi-ttsburgh or Mississip-Pi! You’ll still receive our fabulous finisher’s medal and super-soft T; you’ll just be with us in s-Pi-rit! Here’s what you need to do:
- Complete your 3.14 miles
- Take a screenshot of your sports-tracking smartphone app showing the distance or of your GPS watch with the completed mileage
- Post the photo on our Facebook event page and be sure to tell us about your ex-Pi-rience! If you’re Tweeting about Run 3.14 Pi, be sure to tag @epicraces in your Tweet!
