Gravel Road Ride: 100K • 50K • 10 Mile
Part of a local team or cycling club? A collegiate racer? Have friends you love to ride with? Race together for even more fun!
The course will take you through the wilds of Lower Michigan’s largest park, where pristine forests, rolling glacial terrain, and sparkling lakes provide a breathtaking backdrop for the cycling experience of a lifetime.
Given Waterloo Recreational Area’s glacial history, the bike courses will vary from rolling hill climbs and swift descents to winding curves and rare straightaways. Some of the roads will be paved. Some of the roads may be patched. Most of the roads will be dirt and rock. Expect to get dusty. Expect to get grimy. Expect to have the time of your life!
100K: 2 loops that wind through Waterloo’s more than 20,000 acres.
50K: Condenses the best that the 100K offers into half the distance (one loop)
10-mile non-competitive, untimed: a little bit of everything!
All courses run counterclockwise, turning left onto Seymour Road from Portage Lake, then right on List.
A portion of this event’s proceeds benefits our featured charity, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Here’s what else you get:
GPX file for navigation (course will be marked as well, but people can mess with signs, they can’t mess with your GPS)
Buff
Choice of Toe Covers, Socks, Jersey (please note sizing is a little wonky- runs short and wide- size down)
Finisher’s Award
