Epic Races

Once more I would like to thank you for such a great event. I did your race last year and had such a blast that had to come back again. As mentioned in my thank you of last year, I have been racing triathlons for over 25 years and have been fortunate to race all over the world including a few Ironman and I cannot think of a race that I have enjoyed more.

My wife Lisa I participate in the Ugly Dog Tri last weekend and had a great time. Organization, volunteers and post race food all exceeded our expectations! We're hoping with the turnout you had for this format, that there will be more to come from you guys? Looking to doing more Epic Events in the future...it will be nice to get away from 3D's subpar death grip they have on the local tri scene:-) See you at the races!

I have spent the last two Sundays racing at Portage Lake at your events. You and your staff/ volunteer crew do an amazing job, and wanted to say thank you for all you do to direct first class events. How much you care about putting on really well organized and well run events and how much you care about the participants is evident at every race. Thank you for all you do to give us all fantastic events to race!

You run a GREAT race! My first time at this type of triathlon and I loved it! A fabulous way to enjoy a beautiful part of the world - mosquitos and all 🙂 Will definitely be back next year-

Best Race EVER! I LOVED all of the pampering before and after the race...what a difference it makes! I really hope this race returns next year...I'll be telling all of my friends to sign up. Oh and the merchandising was AWESOME. Best race shirt ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are already back in Pittsburgh, but I wanted to say, and I'm sure Anne Tilley agrees with me...we had one of our best days, of any day, ever.  A day we will reminisce about from time to time.  We will try to remember each little detail, each separate leg.  I call it our swimming safari. It was just great, from the tiki lanterns early this a.m., to the aid stations to the lovely finish, you thought of all of the details. You guys really organized a wonderful event (and we've been to quite a few open water events from Chicago to Chesapeake). Thank you.

I just wanted to thank you for an extremely well organized and executed 10K swim! The course was easy to follow, my stuff was brought to me immediately at the 5K point and results were published quickly.

I have lost 308 pounds and I keep setting goals for myself. I finished a 1/2 marathon two years ago, but with bad knees I knew that was not repeatable so I decided to try a Tri. Last weekend I did the TriGoddess. My best friend came in from Iowa to do it with me. I did the mini...but as I crossed the finished line I knew I could have done the sprint. So next year I am coming back and I have talked my three girls into coming with me. Thank you for providing wonderful events.

Hello: What a wonderful race! I was very impressed with how well this inaugural event went. Special kudos to the volunteers, especially at the water stations and cheer stations. They were SO helpful and enthusiastic! Also, I was impressed with how many people stuck around at the finish line even at the 3 hour mark. ...This is the first women's race I've done, and I love all the positive energy and girl power. Congratulations on putting together an event that will definitely be a permanent highlight on many race calendars. See you next year!

My 7 yo son just participated in the Ann Arbor Kids Tri today, and I wasn't to let the organization know how great of an even this is. The communication before the race was prompt and informative, the race day organization was better than many major marathons I have participated in, and the kids were made to feel awesome. The race director knew her stuff and she should be told how good she is. Excellent, and kind volunteers and a great way to for kids to see other active kids. Thanks again.

You and your team put on a wonderful event.  We heard all good things from the athletes both days.  What you, your staff and the athletes did was truly inspiring.

I want to let you know how pleased I was with how organized the Ann Arbor Triathlon was. Everything from the ease of checking in, the great volunteers, the food, the professional photos (the swimming photos were incredible!)..well, I could go on and on. Epic Races did a top-notch job!  After my experiences last year and this year with Epic Races, I have decided to stick with Epic Races for all future Michigan triathlons. There are others that are closer, but I would rather drive the extra miles to participate in the Epic Races triathlons.  

I just wanted to THANK YOU all for another such wonderful race. I can't express just how much fun this was, well organized, swag was unbelievable, volunteers were great, photographer put out some awesome pictures, course was fantastic. Over the Top!!! Eva you are SUPER at all these events. I have participated in a few of the Epic races and have never been disappointed with any of them. I wish I could of stayed for the BBQ. Hope to see you soon again.

I'm a huge supporter of Epic. I'm only 2yrs into Tri but a couple of other race company's I've done stuff through are just not to the same level of awesome + encouragement + creativity in motivating people via virtual events. I also the fact there are amazing and deserving charities that I can support through Epic events...even more motivation!
